8C is a conveniently short domain name I use to rebuild existing websites. Lyman Byxbe dot com is an old site that needs to be rebuilt.
Because of it’s age, it ranks well in the search engines.
I hate to mess that up by pointing the domain to a new site that I am still working on.
Once I have the new content ready I will migrate 8C to LymanByxbe and point the DNS there.
That ensures no interuption of service.
I will also create a 404 error page so visitors who arrive via an old link will know what happened and have a chance to get to the page they wanted.
